Go Ask Alice is Columbia Universities version of Nightline but online. An online agony aunt with a section for emotional health. I’ve found a lot of the other sections to have relevant information for issues surrounding mental illness, like struggling in relationships, some physical health issues etc

Obviously some of the information is not totally applicable in England.

A fantastic site full of information, articles, news and advice. Search for the article ‘What not to say to someone with depression’ – a good 25% of things on here have been said to me by UHS Doctors, social workers etc

0800 numbers(so most helplines) aren’t free from mobiles, which is a bummer when you need to talk to someone and only have 50p credit on your phone. This is a list I found on the Orange website of 0800 numbers that they won’t charge you for.
